Participants gain knowledge about the causes and effects of climate change. They develop an understanding of where climate science falls within their required curriculum standards. They learn how to clarify the science to educate and empower their students.
Presentations typically run one hour, and are unlimited in the number of participants. A PowerPoint presentation gives background information on a topic, with opportunities for audience participation through turn ’n talk, think-pair-share, and Q&A. Presentations can be tailored to those working with younger children or older children, for classroom teachers, or educators at parks, zoos, aquariums, etc.
